The ND Project is a reflection of the musical influences that form Muriel’s unique artistic character.
A fusion of Tango, Argentinian folklore, African and Latin rhythms with Jazz arrangements and improvisation.
From Tango to Maskandi, Swing to Chacarera, Tonada Jujeña to Nigerian High Life,
ND Project takes the listener to a unique musical experience.
Muriel presented her new EP Muri in 2017 in renown South African Jazz venues such as
The Nassau Centre, Muizenberg Jazz Festival (Cape Town), The Orbit Jazz Club (Johannesburg), The Centre for Jazz Studies and The Chairman (Durban).
In South America, the ND project performed at the L’ecole Jazz Festival, Pierrot Lunaire Cultural Centre (Córdoba, Argentina) and the renown Encuentro IMESUR 2018 in Santiago de Chile
to mention a few.
In her EP participated renown artists such as Dizu Plaatjies from Amapondo,
Shaun Johannes and Kevin Gibson. The Album was mixed and mastered by Pete Karam,
winner of seven Grammy Awards.
